- MBX = Mailbox (Internet address)

- username is the MCI Mail
- address in one of two forms: either the full username
- (like MIT Alumni Fund) or the "box number", unhyphenated,
- and preceded by three 0's.
-
- To illustrate, I sent mail to my Internet address from MCI Mail, and
- it arrived with the following header: From: MIT Alumni Fund
- <0003033904@mcimail.com>.
-
- with the following header: From: MIT Alumni Fund
- <0003033904@mcimail.com>. My "box number", as it appears within MCI
- Mail, is 303-3904.
-
- Hope this helps!
